Sergey Mishin Biography

True, we built one house abroad and there was a partially wooden facade. And then I returned to the tree when I decided to build a cottage. Why did you tied your life with the profession of an architect? How did the first wooden house happen in your life? How did I become an architect? Yes, quite by accident. I was not going to become an architect at all, I dreamed of becoming a geneticist, went to preparatory courses at the university biological faculty.

A day of June in the afternoon, a month before admission, I met a girl on the street, with whom I once studied at an art school. She was going to enter the architectural institute. There really were all of ours. Molberta's ended with paint, David’s hypersium nose, dusty drapery, the tape recorder plays Sergeant Pepper, a bottle of red - in general, native environment appeared from somewhere.

Very unlike the biofac, where everything is decorous and quiet, Petri's cups, an eyepiece of a microscope, and yes, these unfortunate frogs. Well, I really liked this girl. This, apparently, became a decisive factor in the choice of the current profession. And fate turned out differently, I would have sat behind a microscope now and would dissect this unfortunate virus. And to wooden architecture, I have neither much addiction, nor a special attitude.

On the island of Mallorca, in Spain. We built a large villa there. The house, of course, is concrete, but partially finished with wood, Burmese tic, this is the best tick that is not afraid of island conditions. There is salty air, winds, often storms. And we tried to make modern forms from this tick. We had two excellent carpets, dad and son. They did everything very high quality.

Together with them, we came up with various cunning nodes and joints. Then I realized that the tree is a rather plastic material, supple. True, we are faced with one problem: TIK is a tarred tree, it cries in the shade. We covered the house with a tick, and then, after a while, saw different behavior of a tree, depending on the lighting. The original idea was this: TIC would burn out and become silver, steel.

In the sun, everything happened. But in the shade, in places where the sun does not fall, he secreted the resin and remained so unpleasantly red. The customer was furious, because we promised him a silver house. We suffered for a long time, even tried, like Archimedes, to install mirrors so that the sun would affect and fall on the shadow sides. Nothing happened: probably, the “ultraviolet” is not reflected from the mirrors, I don’t know.

We had to lead the tick, and it was, of course, a tragedy. We pulled all the surfaces again and bleached either with acid or alkali. As a result, it became almost silver, but not as silver as we initially expected. This was the lack of experience. It was just necessary to gain patience, hold Tick under the sun, for example, a year, and he would have burned all himself, and then let him into work.

But who knew this, and who has this year! There was no experience. Just about your cottage, I wanted to ask .. .. the cottage, in theory, should be built from wood. At first, my wife and I built a bathhouse and sheathed her unpainted pine. And we liked it. I remember she’s just gray. Seday, yes, and the roof there is also wooden, it was, to a certain extent, an experiment. And everything seems to be fine, nothing happens to her.

And then they decided that the larch was still stronger than the pine, live longer. Therefore, they decided to sheathe the house with a larch. But he is all wooden.

I saw this house on Facebook, a very beautiful house, unique. Fantasies on the topic of the place. No, it seems to me that in Scandinavia a full similar houses. Of course, I did not draw. But I sincerely think that there is nothing special in it. The following question immediately arises: does our architecture have identity, its own story? Or are we weaving in the tail of Europe?

It seems to me to be incorrect to share architects on a geographical basis. What does ours or not ours mean? What is the difference where you were born or where you are registered. Who calls Rema Colhasa Rotterdam architect? I don’t even remember exactly where he was born. He is a world architect, builds all over the world. Why do our architects are not building all over the world?

Perhaps precisely because they call themselves "our architects." There are no Russian architects, as there are no Romanian or French. There are just architects. It seems to me that as soon as a geographical binding occurs, there is immediately a decrease in the level. We are all international. We are not weaving for anyone, just all the architecture moves a united front, if, of course, it generally moves somewhere.

There are no boundaries for the mind. The spirit is in where it wants. And where your physical body is located, now it is absolutely unimportant. And there are no particularly Russian technologies, they are general, world. That is, we are absolutely modern, do you think so? I think yes. We are part of the world architecture. Should be. I infuriate me, I admit when they say: Moscow architects, St.

Petersburg, Voronezh or Podrow -School. It is believed that these are different schools. That St. Petersburg architects have a more classical education ... Here are musicians, for example. Does anyone say that the musician Yekaterinburg? The musician is the musician.Everyone knows, for example, that rowers are one hundred percent St. Petersburg ... no longer St. Petersburg.

He already soars on geography, in my opinion. They listen to him everywhere, however, already less. I somehow stopped, for some reason. And why haven’t you yet given the Pritzker Prize? Perhaps precisely because everyone considers themselves local architects. So, it seems to me that Yuri Grigoryan is not a Moscow architect, but simply a rh and t e r about r.

He is quite convertible. We should not be like a ruble, we must be like bitcoin. There is nothing specifically Russian, as especially Hungarian or German,. There is good and bad. Sergey, how do you feel about the general resettlement of people to central cities? It seems to me that it is better to live on earth in private houses. We lose our rural history. This is a difficult question.

We live in a post -industrial society and return to the agrarian country, apparently it is already impossible to whether it is better to live on Earth - I don’t know.
