Shamil Kasheshov biography nationality
To curtail 82 about Shamila Basayev, there are many rumors regarding his life and activity. Some of them bring confusion to the origin of the field commander. According to one version, the fighter for the independence of Chechnya had Russian roots.
Who “resurrected” Shamil Basaev, perhaps the most famous leader of the Chechen militants who participated in the war with the federal forces for the independence of the unrecognized Republic of Ichkeria. He became the only one of the Chechen field commanders who were awarded the title of Generalissimo posthumously. As the organizer of resonant terrorist attacks in Russia, he was included in the lists of the most dangerous terrorists not only by the Russian government, but also to the UN, the US State Department and the European Union.
Despite the pathological hatred of all the Russian, which Basayev elevated to the rank of life credo, many who knew the field commander personally call him his ancestors descendants of ethnic Russians who were accepted into “Chechen”, or more precisely, in Tip Belgata, one of the largest Chechen teles, which is part of the Nokhchmakha Tukhum. It is curious that the legend of the origin of Belgata tells that the representatives of this teip died out into not so distant temporary due to the erupted epidemic, but then restored their numbers, largely due to the newcomers.
The legend is also confirmed by the etymology of the name: “Bel” - “die”, “gatto” - “resurrect”. Basayev’s life seems to confirm the fate of his native teip: several times he was ranked to the dead, and he was amazingly “resurrected”. However, according to other sources, the ancestors of Basayev joined Tip Bena. With the "Russian tail" Shamil Basayev was born on January 14 of the year in the village of Dyshne-Veino on the banks of the Hulhulau River.
It is noteworthy that Basayev was born in a place that does not indicate clan affiliation, like Bena-Vedas, and in the village, bearing the name “Nohchyn Orsash”-“Chechen Russians”. According to the writer Yuri Gavryuchenkov, this farm was once a settlement of Russian defectors who, in the 19th years of the 19th century, built defensive fortifications for the leader of the Caucasian Wars of Imam Shamil, as well as a residential building in which he later settled.
There is a hypothesis that one of the ancestors of Shamil Basayev was a larger - an assistant and authorized representative of Imam Shamil. The RIA Novosti agency in the material of October 13, referring to his sources, writes that on the territory of Chechnya the field commander Basayev had the nickname “Chechen with a Russian tail”, which hinted at its roots. According to these data, the founder of the Basaev clan was a Russian soldier who deserted in the first half of the 19th century from the army and crossing the side of the rebellious highlanders.
A common surname, however, even if we assume that in the family of Basayev there were Russians, then by the time of his birth there were not many Russian blood left. The surname Basayev is quite common not only among Chechens, but, for example, among the Ingush and Ossetians. To some, this gives reasons to reckon the field commander to other Caucasian nationalities.
It is believed that Shamil Basayev was born from the marriage of Chechens and Avarka, which gives rise to various kinds of speculation, including about the “purity of blood”. For Caucasians, the “purity of blood” is an important component of the genealogy, it largely depends on it what fate will be destined for the highlander entering the life path. Magomed Khambiev, in the past, the divisional general and Minister of Defense by the unrecognized Chechenka of the Republic of Ichkeria, on the contrary, said that Basayev’s father was Avarz.
Given that for all the peoples of the Caucasus, nationality is determined by the father, then the national affiliation of Basayev is obvious. However, Shamil Basayev himself in an interview put everything in place. The field commander stated that his father, Salman Basayev, and his mother, Nura Basayev, by nationality Chechens. What does the Cossack have to do with it? Despite the statement of Basayev versions of its origin and a lot of surfaces later.
The most exotic, calling the mother of the future terrorist, a native of the Cossack village, can be ranked to them. However, perhaps this version was confused with a sustainable hearing that spread in the year, according to which the Kuban Cossack became the third wife of Basayev. The marriage was allegedly concluded in one of the remote villages of the Kuban, where Basayev straightened his health, and the celebrations themselves took place on Valentine's Day on February 14.
The press even gave details: the bride is saying a hereditary Kuban Cossack, a sister of one “Russian Mujahide”. The list of guests attended at the wedding was full of eminent and influential residents of the Muslims of Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Rostov region, Krasnodar and Stavropol region. Member of the Cossack Association Mikhail Zarubin, according to Alexander Kotz, convinced him that the hereditary Cossack, under any conditions, could not marry a Chechen terrorist.
Such women are very rare today, they are not like a Muslim, but even a Russian groom from another area will not be able to get to be welcomed.
