Vladislav Valerievich Chelakh was born on October 8 in Karaganda Kazakhstan [13], [15], [24] in the family of the railway worker [16]. It was reported that there were still children in the Chelach family - his younger sister and brother was born shortly before Vladislav was drafted into the army [16], [10]. According to Father Chelach, his son studied well at school and technical school, dreamed of becoming an electric locomotive driver and serving in border worshipers [10], [16].
At the age of 19, in November, Chelach was drafted into the army of Kazakhstan and sent to serve in the border service of the National Security Committee of the KNB of Kazakhstan [15], [16]. In the spring of the year, the private was attributed to the Arkankergen post “Mountain” Book Bokter in the Alakolsky district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, on the border with China.
It was reported that this post worked only in the summer and was engaged in the prevention of illegal collection of medicinal herbs by China citizens [16], [15], [21], [23], [22]. Some media indicated that Chelah was the only Russians who at that time at that time at the outpost [18], [12], [14]. According to his parents, during the service, their son did not complain about his grandfather and was going to go on vacation in June to see his family [11], [16], [9].
The employees of the border post who arrived there discovered the burned -out barracks building, in which the bodies of 13 border guards were found. Later, the corpse of another soldier was found at all at the post, 15 employees of the KNB border service, as well as the corpse of a huntsman who lived nearby. According to the Khabar agency, the emergency occurred on the night of May 28 [18], [10], [9], [16], [15], [21], [23], [14].
The press was announced in the press according to which the military died in a dream during a fire [19]. In early June, this assumption was confirmed by the director of the KNB of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Myrzaliev: according to the security forces, only the deceased huntsman had a gunshot wound [11], [20]. At the same time, in the same period, some media nominated a different version of what happened: in particular, REGNUM, citing a “informed source”, reported that the border post soldiers were “perhaps killed, there is a chance that they were shot” [23].
The version was also given with reference to sources of local media, according to which "someone watered border guards with alcohol with sleeping pills" [11]. However, in the remains of military personnel and huntsmen of the hunting farm, an examination of traces of alcohol did not discover [18], [11], [19]. This incident immediately received a wide resonance in Kazakhstan.
Two versions of what happened were put forward: the post of border posts could be attacked - by local residents, smugglers or professional militants, or the reprisal was committed on the basis of non -set relations [16], [21]. Already on June 1, President of the Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the incident was an act of terrorism, which occurred "as a result of internal conflicts" [22], [16].
Chelakh became the only surviving employee of the borderpost. According to other information published in the media, the soldier himself went to the burnt post or the nearest village [18], [12]. Chelakh was in a state of shock and had a gun of the murdered head of the outpost [17], [9], [16]. It was also reported that on the Day of PE he was on duty [16]. On the day of detention, Chelah immediately came under suspicion of murder [18].
At the same time, it was not specified how he was able to kill 15 armed people alone [16], [9], [11]. The next day, the prosecutor's office of Kazakhstan officially announced the confession made by Chelach: according to him, he killed his colleagues, and then arranged arson. The motive of the crime, according to the representative of the prosecutor's office, was “served by internal conflicts and an inexplicable state - clouding of consciousness” [8].
At the same time, during a brief date with his mother, Chelach told her that he had not killed his colleagues [6]. Chelakh began to argue that unknown people attacked the camp [4], [3]. The materials used [1] Chelachu charged with 8 articles of the Criminal Code. Ru, now denies everything.
