As Nina Georgievna shares, she came to the Komsomol construction site from Chistopol, and her husband Ayup Ganievich was from Kazan that year. Here we met, here we got married, in November we will celebrate the summer of the wedding, here we live our whole life, our children were born here. Ayup Mukhametgaliev arrived in Nizhnekamsk immediately after the end of the Kazan Engineering Institute, participated in the construction of the Nizhnekamsk chemical plant-he began with the position of the master, then, having passed the career ladder, he headed SMU-4, and in the middle of the X founded a project institute in the city.

According to his project, a city museum was built, near which today the monument was opened to first builders. After a small theatrical composition that reflected the arrival of the first builders, architects, educators and doctors for the construction of the city, the solemn moment of Realnoevremya came. Almost everyone who came to the city construction site and the construction of a chemical plant, which, in fact, became the founder of the city, created families here and laid the foundation for more than one generation of indigenous Nizhnekamans.

In honor of the anniversary - an honorary title after a small theatrical composition that reflected the arrival of the first builders, architects, educators and doctors for the construction of the city, a solemn moment came: a snow -white cover was removed from each sculptures - and a monumental composition called “We knew - the city will be! It consists of four figures - “Geodesist and Refinger”, “Girl with a ruler”, “Builders with a plan of the future city and a chemical plant”, “Mason and welders”.

Each figure was cast from bronze, the author of the composition was a young sculptor artist, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia Arthur Davydov. Congratulating the Nizhnekammets on the event, the mayor of the city Aidar Metshin noted that this sculptural composition is a tribute to the grateful memory of the modern generation of Nizhnekamans to all our creators, creators, professionals who built a sunny city on Kama with their own hands.

As a sign of the anniversary, 11 Nizhnekamites were awarded, who made a special contribution to the development and formation of the city. She worked as a malarus, then the team leader of the finishes, built the city bus station, Begishevo Airport, the House of Technology, the Jalil cinema, the Kama Hotel, the factories and workshops of the chemical plant and the tire plant.
