Kosterin Biography
Head of the Stavropol Military School of Communications - GG. Born on May 8 of the year in the village of Melyushevo, the Teykovsky district of the Ivanovo region. A participant in the Great Patriotic War with the GO for the year and the war with the imperialist Japan in August-September, where he was engaged in a connection between the headquarters of the formations as part of the Trans-Baikal Front.
At the end of the war, K. Kosterin entered the Leningrad Military Academy of Communications named after S. graduating from the Academy, he remained in the adjunct, after which he defended the dissertation for the degree of candidate of military sciences. After the successful defense of the dissertation, he served at his native academy as a teacher. He was awarded the scientific title "Associate Professor".
Then, Konstantin Alekseevich served as the head of the communications troops of the North Caucasus Military District. After the creation of the strategic missile forces, with GO for the year K., the first head of the school was the colonel, and later Major General Konstantin Alekseevich Kosterin. The main task of the school was to prepare future officers for service at the communications units of the command posts of units, units and formations of missile forces.
For this purpose, the cadets studied communications devices, learned the ability to use communications funds for their intended purpose, acquired the repair skills of faulty or refusing radio or wired communications. With the direct participation of K. Kosterin, the following training cycles were created in the school: “military radio stations”, “wire communications”, “station-operational service”, “communications and communication units”, “electrical engineering” and “public sciences”.
Along with cycles, subject-methodical groups of mathematics, physicists and foreign languages were created at the school. Since that time, the school graduates are assigned the qualification of an officer with a secondary military education - an engineer for the operation of communications. General membranes of the cycles and subject-methodical groups of the Secondary School of Communications were also formed.
Kosterin contributed to the development of the educational base. A new educational building was built and the old was reconstructed. Taking into account the latest scientific and technical achievements, a training unit of communication with the reception and transmitting radio centers was equipped. Thanks to the efforts of Konstantin Alekseevich Kosterin, the third faculty was opened in the school, the number of faculty with academic degrees and ranks increased, the area of the barracks and educational funds was expanded, and the educational and material base of the departments increased significantly.
Simultaneously with the performance of the duties of the head of the military school, Major General Konstantin Alekseevich Kosterin was the head of the Stavropol military garrison. Thanks to him, a military clinic was built in Stavropol, a military commandant’s office and a military prosecutor’s office began work, a major overhaul of emergency buildings of the garrison house of officers and a military hospital was carried out, many issues of life and lives of military families were resolved, in particular, five ten apartment houses were built in the center of Stavropol.
He also made a great contribution to the improvement of the garrison and guard services of the military units of the Stavropol garrison. While on a well -deserved rest, he lived with his family in the city of Odintsovo, Moscow Region and actively engaged in social activities, as a member of the city council of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and a member of the Council of Veterans of the Strategic Missile Forces.
He was often invited for speeches and meetings to educational institutions and public organizations. He was also awarded two orders of the Red Star, the Order of the "Person of Honor", medals: "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War - years", "For the victory over Japan", "For military merits" and other awards. The outstanding military leader, organizer and teacher Konstantin Alekseevich Kosterin died on September 20, in the year of his life.
Konstantin Alekseevich, the entire World War II, the war with militaristic Japan, was held in the army. Three of his pupils became generals, and one of them, Oleg Popov, graduated from the head of the head of his native school. One of the main concerns of General Kosterin was the development of the educational material base.
