Konstantin had the idea to study the story of his own. For about 15 years he collected information, and managed to find information about more than relatives for the historical period up to a year. In the year, Konstantin Artyomovich fell into the hands of Alexei Kretinin's book “Novonikolaevsk - Novosibirsk: one fate for two”, which struck him. He began to record and collect all the information about the history of the city that he met.

A lot of interesting things have accumulated, and I wanted this material to become known to many Novosibirsk. Moreover, local residents know little about the history of their city and to the question of visitors, what can be seen, they answer that there is nothing to watch. It was proposed to erect a monument to Emperor Alexander III in the city, as one of the founders. The voice was heard, and a year later the monument was erected on the embankment. Further, the hobby of the history of the city was no longer limited to articles in newspapers. Participation in specialized scientific conferences, publications in collections, development of museum exhibitions began.
