Heidi Baker biography

There are more and more wars in the news. At home, in Mozambique, there are also cyclones. In many countries, spiritual shock and great fear reigns. For all these reasons, it is even more important for us to get together and assert what the Church always believed in: God, we trust you! You are the Lord over all storms. You will meet us in the middle of the wind and waves.

Even when relatives are sick and pass away, even when the earth trembles, even during the war, hunger and floods. You are above all this!

Heidi Baker biography

Together with many of my friends recently, I often felt like students from Matthew 8 - we went on a sea trip and fell into such a strong storm that we cannot but feel fear. Fear is inherent in a person, but we cannot afford to forget that Jesus is also in a boat. If we want to find calm, we must remind ourselves again and again who with us. Every day you can find peace with him, and I urge you to find time for this.

If you ask him to be in a boat with you and are ready to trust his presence above everything else, he will be there. He will never leave you. From the death of one granny comes the life of a whole harvest Spring will come again. Seasons are changing. Winter will not last forever. It is true that we would never ask about the seasons of suffering, injuries or doubts.

Nevertheless, Jesus tells us: “Let me clarify this: one wheat grain will never be more than one wheat grain if it does not fall into the ground and does not die. Because then it sprouts and gives a large harvest of wheat - and all because one grain died ”John, TPT. No matter what the enemy is thinking into evil these days, God is able to turn for the good for all those who love him.

Let your roots grow deeper. A good harvest is charging and will not be detained. Some readers are probably familiar with our friend Felisardo from Mozambique, whom the terrorists tortured and set fire not far from our house in the north of Mozambique. For some time, bleeding and abandoned, he lost his 4-year-old daughter. Death was very close. In the end, it did not look like something good could have happened out of such horror.

The pain seemed meaningless, incomprehensible. But even in that terrible storm, Jesus was with him in a boat. Felisardo was able to reunite with his daughter, and I will never forget this joy. His scars stayed with him, but in recent weeks he was able to transfer another corrective operation to help restore greater mobility. Truly, the life of Jesus shines through Felisardo brighter than ever.

Now it is part of our logistics team, helping to distribute food and essential items among many thousands of internally moved persons in our region. His compassion is as deep as his suffering. Life that makes spring come to Felisardo again, comes from above, and we know that it will last forever. Deepen your compassion through what I endure, I want to urge you to ask the Lord how you can console your neighbors when a boat in which you are all together throws some strong storm.

How can you make Jesus visible to the people around you? How does he ask you to take part? How can you react in the face of great difficulties? How does it really look like to console others? Even if this is very few, this is enough to give what you can. Let what you tolerate, deepen your compassion. Remember the 2nd Corinthians “So, thanks to God's mercy, we were entrusted with the privilege of this service of the New Testament.

And we will not surrender and do not faint from fatigue ”TPT. More recently, when I was in America, I burned my hand quite a lot as a result of an accident in the kitchen. I had to contact the burn center repeatedly. The shock was huge. The burn was so deep that at first there was almost no pain, because the nerves were burned. Weeks went, and it was often painful; But I continued to think about many other terrible burns that I saw often in places where there was almost no medical care, and I felt deeply grateful to my doctors, nurses and other nurses.

I blessed them with all my heart. Wherever you are, if you have true gratitude to people, I believe that such blessings can persist and raise the atmosphere in such a way that this goes beyond words. Felisardo, who almost died of wounds at the hands of evil people, could answer with anger. He did not have all the modern care that I had. His trauma was inflicted in wicked.

Instead, he devoted himself to giving love and support to everyone who surrounds it. Now I consider him one of the greatest inspirers that I have ever met. I am also grateful to him for that. Suffering is very real, but behind all suffering there is a joy on which you need to concentrate.Be persistent, always remind each other about your hope and remember that “I am convinced that any suffering that we endure is less than nothing compared to the grandeur of glory, which is about to open inside us” Rome.
