Both the chemist and the composer: the story of Alexander Borodin’s life, he was a member of the “mighty pile” of Culture. Thanks to this, the future scientist was able to continue his studies at the gymnasium and enter the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy of IMHA. The scientific career after the end of training and the passage of compulsory medical experience in Borodin began research in organic chemistry. Thanks to them, he became known in Russia and abroad. After Alexander defended his doctoral, he went on a scientific business trip abroad and traveled around Germany, France and Italy for three years. All this served as an excellent basis for the further work of the scientist: he wrote more than 40 chemistry works, in which he invented the original way to obtain bromine fatty acids with the action of bromine on silver salts of acids; received the first fluorological compound of Benzoid fluoride; Explored Acetaldehyde, described Aldol with the most famous representative of aldehydospirts and the reaction of aldomic condensation.
In addition, he developed a method for determining nitrogen in the urine and investigated disinfection. All this made Alexander Borodin an outstanding specialist of his time, but his achievements did not end there. Borodin wrote the first composition of the scientist as a child as a child, unfortunately, the score has not been preserved to this day. Later, while studying at the Academy, Alexander composed several fugs, a romance to the words “Beauty-fishing”, the trio “How I upset you” and Skerszo.
During foreign travels, the comedian scientist also continued to make music, which gained wide recognition in Russia and abroad. The peak of the musical career of Borodin became the opera "Prince Igor." He worked on her for a long 18 years for a year.
