The author is considered one of the most striking representatives of the domestic vanguard of the last century.

Childhood and youth were born a writer on November 20 in the Altai city of Biysk, where his father moved to the Nepmansky E years. Henry's parents were Vitebsk Jews, whose relatives were such a celebrity as artist Mark Shagal. The family consisted of father with his mother and their three sons - Igor, Mikhail and Henry. Practical guide for beginner poets. ” Sapgir was an active user of the local library: he lacked one of his subscription, so he scored books on the cards of his mother and brothers. After the death of Alvig, another talented teacher, Evgeny Kropyvnitsky, began to study in the year with Henry.

With the outbreak of war, father and older brothers went to the front. The thirteen -year -old Sapgira and his mother was sent to evacuation to the Vladimir region. In the village where the young writer got, there were no books or a literary circle, but most importantly - there were no favorite friends. Unable to endure such a life, in the year the teenager independently left the evacuation site and returned to the capital on foot.

Moscow met a young man with hunger and poverty: there was nowhere to take a product card, it was also not easy with work. One of his friends told Henry that the participants in amateur performances receive the same cherished cards. So Sapgir was in the house of pioneers, where by that time his favorite literary studio had already been closed due to the death of Alvig. The guy signed up in the class of fine art to Evgeny Kropyvnytsky - a man who later became the chief teacher of the writer.

In the same period, Henry met with Oscar Rabin, in the future the famous conceptual artist. The novice writer had a rather difficult relationship with his father, and after the war they became even worse. In order not to return home, the young man increasingly remained for the night in the house of Kropyvnitsky, who lived in the Lianozovo area in a small room. Sometimes Henry spent the night with his new friend Rabin on Arbat, whose house was directly opposite the Museum of Literature.

Here, the young writer created his first collection of poems in the Lermontov style. At the age of sixteen, the young man composed his debut sonnet and the continuation of Faust, describing the struggle of light and darkness. Unfortunately, the first poetic works of the writer have not been preserved to this day. After graduating from school, the young man became a student of a printing college.

In the year he was drafted into the army and sent to serve in Sverdlovsk-4-a closed military town in the Sverdlovsk region. Henry got into the construction battalion, based among numerous mines, where prisoners worked. Having repaid the debt to his homeland, in the year the writer returned to the capital and became an employee of the sculptural plant under the art fund.

In this institution, Sapgir worked for seven years. Henry continued communication with the Kropyvnitsky family, who became almost relatives to him. The relationship with the son of the artist Leo has developed especially warm. With him, the writer discussed his work, which gradually switched to a more mature level.In these years, the poetic collection “Voices”, written in the workshops of Ernst Unknown, Sidur, Lemport and Siris, who worked in the sculptural plant, was released.

On Sundays, Henry loved to visit his friend Oscar Rabin, where many creative people of that time gathered. It was from here that the author’s verses began to disperse throughout the Union - first to Moscow and Leningrad, and then to other cities of the country. The poet did not fully understand how widely his work spread, but he noticed that young people in different parts of the USSR had already read his works.

The writer Henry Sapgir family of Kropyvnitsky lived in Vinogradovo near Moscow, near the Dolgoprudnaya railway station. Their daughter Valya became the wife of Oscar Rabin, with whom she settled near her parents - in the Lianozovo area. In their modest hut formed a Lianozovo group, a well -known in those years - an unofficial unification of creative people, fans of Mayakovsky’s poetry, Kruchenkhi, Khlebnikov.

The spiritual mentor of the like -minded people was Kropyvnitsky. Lianozovites are not a self -name of the association. So intellectuals were designated by employees of the security agencies, observing their activities. In history, the association remained under this name.

By that time, Henry Veniaminovich was already a famous figure among the literary and artistic public of the two capitals. The most popular work of those years was the “Voices” with their unlike intonation and a new approach to poetry. The publication of this could not even dream, so the book was released by samizdat. At the end of X Henry became a member of the unofficial almanac of Alexander Ginzburg "Syntax." The poems “Lemon”, “Sandword”, “Poems about words” and “Striped poems” became cult for many generations of babies and their parents. The plays of Henry Veniaminovich were put in children's theaters throughout the country. The plots of his works formed the basis of such animated films as “Steam from Romashkov”, “Horse” and “My Green Crocodile”.

There are many diaphyls with illustrated works of the author. In the evenings, the sheets were hung on the walls throughout the Soviet Union, the magic boxes-design boxes were launched, and pictures with verses of the famous poet appeared on such impromptu screens. Sapgira's books loved millions. According to his scripts, cartoons continued to be shot: “About Thomas and about Erem”, “Like a donkey fell ill with sadness,” “blue -eyed”.

In many animated films, songs on the verses of a talented author sounded: “Green Carriage”, “Visiting the Dwarves”, “The Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase”, “Santa Claus and the Gray Wolf”, “Blue Elephant”. Henry Veniaminovich became an increasingly popular children's writer. Henry Sapgir and his wife Kira at the beginning of X published a huge number of books, including such bestsellers as Tram Tramvaich, Four Enversion, First acquaintance, “Forest-Forests”, “Hello”, “Birds in Notebooks”.

In addition, the poet created several poetic alphabet: “Crane Book”, “Forest alphabet”, “Funny alphabet”, “The Tale of Forest Music”. In the middle of X Sapgir, he became the author of the physical education primer “Rush cheeks” and the cognitive book “The Adventures of Kubarik and Tomatik, or Merry Mathematics”. In the continuation of the latter, the writer released the work “How the Horse was looking for”, which has become a table book for many generations of Soviet readers.
