There is another significant date, which we are not in the right to forget about September 8. On this day, 15 -year -old teenager Vitya Novitsky performed an immortal feat, giving his life for his homeland.

Victor Novitsky biography

Selflessly defending Novorossiysk from the fascists of the invaders, he shot the Nazis company, after which the Nazis burned him alive. This year, the feat of Viti Novitsky is 71 years old. Vitya Novitsky participated in street battles out of town during the offensive of the Nazis in the year. For two hours he is the only survivor at the defensive line in the Oktyabrskaya Square area, mowed the Germans with machine gun fire.

It was September 8. The real image of Viti Novitsky is far from the textbook image of the Pioneer Hero. Vitya was a foster child in the family, says Valentin Svidersky. He was thrown to Uncle Misha and Aunt Pasha Novitsky. When Vitya grew up, his father left his family and went to the arc of a woman. And he did not always maintain a relationship with his ex -wife, who raised his children.

Aunt Pasha was given housing in the tower on Oktyabrskaya Square. Valentin Svidersky lived on Decembrist Street. The guys came together because both were from the countryside. Yesterday's rural boys did not immediately manage to fit on on Wednesday of city peers. The advanced Novorossiysk boys in those pre -war years knew all about the types of warships, tanks and aircraft.

But Vitya quickly went up to date. And when the war began, all the boys-schoolchildren were very happy- they had seen enough patriotic films, they calculated the path on which ours would get to Berlin. The guys were disappointed when it turned out that military operations were delayed. In years, local boys, as expected, went to school. But Viti was not among them. He was already considered "difficult." I missed the lessons, hooligan.

It was rumored that he even robbed a kiosk. Such hooliganism among boys was not considered reprehensible. It was even fashionable. But the crime was considered to scold the homeland and Soviet power. Vitina family lived poorly. They had no time to look after the eldest son. When an anti -aircraft battery was placed on Oktyabrskaya Square next to the Vitin House, he practically spent the day and spent the night there.

He helped the fighters, fulfilled their instructions, and they fed him for this. In December, Vitya went with the anti -aircraft gunners to the front, fought with them in Kerch. Then it was not so difficult to sign up for the sons of the regiment. He was not in Novorossiysk until April. He returned home because of the injury. The guy torn his finger on his leg. By this time, Vitya had already owned all types of small arms.

For friends and classmates, he was a real hero. Returning to Novorossiysk, Vitya made friends tightly with the sailors who were located in their house. However, when the battle was tied, the sailors resolutely drove him out of the tower. How he persuaded the sailors to allow him to help him. I dragged the ammunition boxes, wore water. Sometimes he just shook the trophies gathered by him under his feet.

But the sailors still drove him off. When the Nazis launched an attack on Novorossiysk in August-September, they took the city for a hill over the city. In the beginning, the Germans occupied the Kutuzovsky "Bugor". The Germans destroyed all the Soviet fighters who held the defense there. By the evening of the finger in this area subsided. The Nazis stopped on Freedom Street. In line was the October Bugor.

The tower where the Viti Novitsky family lived has long turned into a Soviet defensive line. On this day, Vitya was on the tower as always. Suddenly, in the depths of the Decembrists lane, the dark green silhouettes of the Nazis appeared and began to shell the tower. The company was purposefully torn to Rubin Street. It was too late to send Vitya home. Do not pushing the guy out the door, right into the hands of the Germans.

Vitya stayed in the tower. His parents moved to relatives, called Vitya with them. And the son remained in the tower along with the sailors who took this advantageous position. The junior lieutenant submariner Yaremich commanded them. On September of September, Decembrist Street was not yet occupied by the Germans. On the eve of the assault on Oktyabrskaya Square, Vitya ran home to the Svidersky.

In the basement, where the Svidersky family hid from shells, they talked for the last time about something insignificant. Vitya was in the tunic of the release, rubber slippers and a cavalry saber on his side. We knew that together with Vitya, nine people were defending the tower - six sailors from the destroyer’s destroyer and two soldiers. In fact, Vitya was better than sailors treated weapons and knew the laws of ground battle.

After all, the sea crew is used to fighting on the ship. And on the eighth of September, the Nazis went on the attack. All our neighbors, recalls Svidersky, have already learned to determine from the roar and noise where they shoot, from which side they come. And we made our way to the street Rubin and from there, hiding behind an old fence, watched the course of the battle. They saw how one fighter near the tower died.

Then the shell hit the wall, and from there the explosion threw another.Sometimes Vitya jumped out of the entrance and threw grenades. And we knew that he was still alive. And then for 15 minutes in the tower it became quiet. The Germans pulled up to her. But then again the machine gun was located. According to the assumption of Viti's neighbors, besides him, there was no one to shoot more.

There were no more living fighters. For a very long time, the machine gunner did not give the Nazis the opportunity to approach the tower. But they still managed to get closer to this position- on the other hand. From there, no one expected them. The observers thought it was reinforcing. The Germans took the tower. The neighbors saw how Vitya was thrown out of the window.

He was burning. Perhaps he was doused with something - alcohol or gasoline. His head was bloodied from behind, most likely he was hit by an butt. The fact that it was the summer boy who until the end kept the defense, according to Svidersky, proves another fact. The next day, the Germans gathered residents and ordered to bury the battle participants. Only Vitino was not allowed to put the body.

So he bold him strongly. But at night his corpse disappeared. After the war, it became known that his mother and stepmother were buried. Two women gathered at night, wrapped them in the blanket of their son and dug as they could not far from the tower. After the war, Valentin Svidersky tried to tell about the feat of his comrade in the military enlistment office, in the museum, but then no one paid attention to his words.

And only the creator of the youth organization "Schuna" peer "Konstantin Podma managed to make his name famous.
