Since childhood, I listened to the classics because I studied in the piano class, and Mozart was my favorite composer at that time: his works were fascinated by exceptional melodism, the brightness of colors and a certain paradise beauty. With age, I plunged into various styles. When he studied in the class of a saxophone, he began to listen to jazz, then he already showed interest in the guitar.

The most entertaining thing is that before meeting the guitar I did not really understand this tool. He seemed to me purely gypsy. But when one friend had a guitar in the yard, I gradually began to try to play melodies on it. At first I played, like on the gusls - I laid the guitar on my knees. But after a month or two, I myself already taught all the guys in the yard to various chords.

In the Volga-Band orchestra I was invited in the year. I believe that this good experience is that playing the ensemble is very important for the musician. Here he learns to listen to himself and sound in the general team. This, if you want, is a certain struggle with yourself, with your ego. It is very important to be able to be the very screw in a huge system, but the intake with which this system will not work.

The sense of proportion is brought up very well. Do you think this led to a decrease in the number of random people in the profession? Simply put, now only those who really want to play this instrument go to study? But there are no light tools. Andres Severe said that the guitar is the easiest instrument in the world in order to play badly. Now there are a lot of guitarists who sprinkle along the grip, that there are urine, but the very essence of music, mood, character cannot be conveyed.

After all, these are the emotions that we want to worry, and only with fluent in the fingers they cannot be expressed. Naturally, without technical skills, nowhere in music is the mood. And many forget about this. The technique can impress girls, of course.

But for a real musician this is not a goal. The guitar is my continuation. Even if not a guitar, but a saxophone or piano, the musician should be able to pass on emotions through the instrument. This must be studied for a long time, unless, of course, you are a genius. What was this project? They were street musicians. I joined them, and we went to Portugal and France to play clubs.

For me it was a very good practice: we could play improvisations for hours! It was a good time and in the year we finally gathered and made a tool program, where there were 50 percent of my works and 50 percent - compositions of famous guitarists. Then I recorded the album "Navigator". The author’s compositions entered there: 4 acoustic and three - with a quartet. This is my debut disc, and it is very dear to me.

In the near future I am going to record the following. I know how it should sound. In addition, I see that the audience likes it, and it fuel me. Accordingly, there is a desire to constantly write new music. This is a magical process. But sometimes painful: sometimes you have to collect melodies literally in pieces. What other manifestations of Vakhtang talent have been awaiting us in the near future?

They are very different, but so far I have enough strength and enthusiasm for everything. In the future, I will most likely give up something and stay in two or three. But I will never part with music, of course. This is my life, my bread, my everything. If we talk about something new, about new projects, then I want to develop what is now. To date, it completely covers my needs as a musician.

But, of course, at any moment I may want something more. What it could be - I can’t even imagine. In recent years, there have been much more performances. In the year I played concerts, including tour. I tour with the quartet and with the soloists of the orchestra. This is very informative: upon arrival in another city, you understand that there is a slightly different musical “boiler”, and to comprehend the new is always interesting.

In Moscow, for example, other impressions than in Ulyanovsk or Almaty. Maybe this is due to the fact that in different cities people live in a musical life with varying degrees of awareness of the show of show business in the world: in Moscow the viewer is more sophisticated, but this, on the contrary, clings even more, because the musician should always be in the search.

This is a process that pushes you to the development of your musical qualities, becomes an impulse of new ideas. It happens that I compose a melody - and it seems to me that here it is! Cool thing! It will sound gorgeously. And the reaction of the public is not the one that he was waiting.And another time I play an ordinary little thing, but people thank and ask it to be written down to listen.

Everything is individual here. Therefore - returning to the beginning of our conversation - there is no bad and good music. She happens to the place or out of place. I often repeat this because I believe in it. Of course, I could limit myself to any one style and play in it. But I don't want to do this at all. I do what I like, and I'm not going to restrain myself in some stylistic framework.
