Eduard Assadov Biography Poems Audio Complete biography of Eduard Asadov The future great poet Eduard Assadov was born in a year in an intelligent teacher’s family, both of his parents were teachers, however, his father, Arkady Grigoryevich, did not hide from the bullets, the man of the peaceful profession in a heavy din, commanded a rifle company. In those days, the family lived in Turkmenistan, and there Eduard Arkadievich was born.

So the night shooting and birds soaring into a dazzling bright sky dreamed of the poet for many years. What does a young man from an intelligent family dream of? Asadov’s father died when he was a little over thirty - a man who survived years of battles died of banal intestinal obstruction. After that, the mother could not stay in the same place, taking the 6-year-old son, Lidia Ivanovna moved to Sverdlovsk, to her relatives, and a few years later moved to Moscow-she was a truly good teacher, so she was offered work in the capital.

In the Soviet years, no one thought about how justified the “mixing of blood” was - in such a multinational country as the USSR, it was in the order of things. Asadov proudly said that he was an Armenian by nationality, although among his relatives there were people of completely different nationalities. But all of them, as for selection, were highly intellectual, intelligent.

And also - they knew how to love like no one else. This is a great example - the story of the great -grandmother Eduard Assadov, ladies from the St. Petersburg secular society, which was madly in love with a real English lord. Young people could not be together, but crossed through human and divine laws - just to be together. So Eduard Arkadievich inherited his admiration for true feelings at the genetic level.

As for faith in God, he has always been an atheist. And not at all because he was an ideological opponent of religion. Just a poet was perplexed how the creator could, if he really exists somewhere, to allow so much pain, grief, suffering on our earth? Therefore, he either is not, or he is not omnipotent at all - therefore, he does not deserve any worship. Assadov later said that he was ready to become a true believing person if there was someone who managed to explain this paradox to him.

But the young man sacredly believed in kindness, which should be many times more in the world, otherwise the world is simply doomed to death. The war, piercing youth through and through and now the year has come. The young man, inspired by plans and hopes, plans to enter the university after school, but cannot decide what to prefer: literary or theatrical? Life saved Asadov from this choice, making its own adjustments - a week after the school graduation, the Great Patriotic War began.

It is clear that such a fiery, sincere young man could not even think about being served aside. On the first day, he rushed to the military enlistment office, and a day later he was heading to the place of battles as part of the rifle unit - Assadov was enrolled in the calculation of a special gun, which later gained fame as the legendary Katyusha. After a short study, Eduard Arkadievich fell into the battlefields - he received his military baptism near Moscow, fighting in Pekla himself on the Volkhov Front.

For more than a year he was a gunner, but in OM, after the injury of his immediate superior, he was appointed commander of weapons calculation. Rather, at first no one had time to appoint him - Assadov himself took on the command. This happened in the conditions of an ongoing cannonade, so the fighter himself led his comrades - and he himself pointed the gun. He struck others with his courage and determination - never losing his head, Assades could make the only right decision in the most difficult situation.

And in the breaks between the battles, he wrote poetry and read them on short -lived halves to his colleagues. And the soldiers asked - come on! Later Assadova, who almost literally introduced such a scene into one of his works about the war, reproached the picture of idealism. Critics, who never really favored the poet, reproached him for distorting reality - what verses, what jokes and talk about love could be in the war?!

But Assadov never tried to convince unbelievers, he simply knew that war is also a life that could not be done without blood and dirt, but it contains time for happiness and hopes. People died - and dreamed of family happiness, cried in pain - and dreamed of love. The tragedy, which turned up the year, Eduard Assadov, who turned Lieutenant's shoulder straps and was appointed first to the North Caucasus, and then on the fourth Ukrainian front, having become a battalion event eventually.

Remembering this time, many colleagues and comrades Asadov for those terrible years were only amazed at his incredible determination and courage - this young and brave boy never thought about his own life, trying to do everything to fulfill his military duty.Fights under Sevastopol became fatal for Asadov - his own battery was completely destroyed by the enemy’s targeted fire.

There were no more guns, but there were reserves of shells, which so needed at a neighboring line. And with the onset of dawn, ammunition were loaded into the car that Eduard Arkadievich undertook to deliver to the battery providing an offensive. This decision was stupid, deadly, impossible - along an open plain, perfectly shot by artillery and aircraft of the enemy, to carry reactive shells through the crossed terrain in a normal shaking truck.

But it was this feat that brought a decisive note to the Sevastopol victory symphony - in time the delivered shells made it possible to suppress the enemy firing points. It is not known what the result of the battle would be if Assadov did not make such a decision. Unfortunately, for himself this battle was the last. A fragment of a shell exploding a stone's throw from the car, the battalion was demolished part of the skull, baying his face with blood and completely blinding it.

According to doctors, after such injuries, a person must die within a few minutes. And certainly he is not able to perform any body movements. Assadov brought the car to the neighboring battery, being almost unconscious, and only then plunged into the abyss of nothingness. He spent almost a month in it. Sentenced - but disagree! When the young man woke up, he had to listen to two news.

The first was that he was a phenomenon - none of the doctors even assumed that the young officer could survive, while retaining the ability to speak, move, think. It was good news. And he learned about the bad Assades on the same day as he opened his eyes - and did not see anything around. He had to spend the rest of his life in complete darkness-as a result of the traumatic brain injury received, the young man lifted his vision forever.

Assadov himself, recalling these times, often said that it was not the art of doctors who saved his love that he always believed in, and which repaid him for this, giving a desire to live. In the very first days, immersed in darkness, lost and helpless, he did not want to exist anymore. But the nurse, who looked after a young officer, was indignant - was he so brave and strong, to think about death?

And she stated that personally she would love to associate her life with the hero. Edward never found out whether this woman seriously spoke or wanted to cheer up the suffering boy. But she succeeded-Assadov realized that life did not end, someone else needs him. And he wrote poetry. A lot of poems - about peace and war, about animals and nature, about human meanness and nobility, faith and restlessness.

But first of all, these were poems about love - Assades, dictating to other people their lines, was sure that only love could hold a person on the very edge, save and give a new goal in life. Up, to the stars and heights of folk recognition in the year, he was enrolled in the Literary Institute, two years later the first selection of Assadov’s poems was published in the “Ogok”, and in the year his first book was light - after that, Eduard Arkadievich became a member of the Writers' Union and a member of the CPSU.

He became very popular - constant trips around the country with reading his poems, letters of thousands of readers who could not remain indifferent after meeting with Asadov’s work. He himself later recalled that the news from women who recognized themselves in each of his work very often came. They thanked Eduard Arkadyevich Z, he was able to understand all their pain, their dreams and hopes so accurately.

And he, experiencing every story, as if she had happened to him, created more and more masterpieces. His poems about love were not glossy-hungry-behind each line the blood of a wounded heart oozed. In the year, on the eve of his flying, Assadov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union - his former military commander sought this award for many years.
